THE FRENEHARD & MICHAUX® GROUP ACQUIRES THE ALTREX GROUP
The Frénéhard & Michaux Industrial Group, a major player in access and safety for work at height, as well as a long-standing player in fasteners for roofing and gutters, is acquiring the ALTREX® Group, with a view to driving its growth strategy in the industrial sector, in activities concerning access to, and work conducted at height.
The Frénéhard & Michaux Group now offers – under its HEIGHT WITH CONFIDENCE® concept – a unique range of products for accessing, moving around and working at height. These solutions are being adopted by professionals in the construction and manufacturing industries, aiming to embrace both safety and productivity. In all markets, the Group’s products are marketed under the TUBESCA-COMABI®, SECURIGARD®, SYAM®, GAMESYSTEM®, SKYWORKS®, TENDO® and ARTUB® brands.
The ALTREX® Group, founded in 1950 in the Netherlands, has its main sites in the Netherlands at Zwolle (Head Office and factory), Bornem (Belgium) and Barcelona (Spain). For over 70 years, the Group has been designing, manufacturing and installing access and work at height solutions for all industry and construction sectors. A major player in the Benelux, ALTREX also exports its products to more than 60 countries.
